Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the power of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations used.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is swapped for another similar one, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or bought at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment for example, increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks, while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next successful result is repeated. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they are open they will display a complete description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.
This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that can increase an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". item upgrades will show a summary of the item's levels and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. The system is an excellent choice for those who wish to get an edge in battle but don't want strain their wallets. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are many methods to get these stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will gain a higher level. This process continues until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be applied, as well as an initial amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the first is where players can add equipment that needs to be upgraded, and the right shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once the player has enough materials will initiate the upgrade process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of an item will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum level that it can no longer have the option to upgrade. In the same way, once an item reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons in order to provide an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary based on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This gives them extra effects or an increased level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the item's statistics.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get the perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
When you select an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the necessary requirements. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will put an item in your inventory after you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how close to getting the upgrade completed. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
